Teleclasses — your questions answered
What’s the difference between a teleclass and a Mentoring Circle?
A teleclass is much more of a lecture style format than the Circles. During a teleclass series, I will be interacting with people, but as there may be a large number of people on the call, only a few will get to ask questions or make comments. On the Circles, because participants are limited to five, the nature of the call is very different; much more interactive and focused on the individual’s particular challenges.
How is the Mentoring Circle different from other phone groups I might join?
My focus is on addressing the limiting beliefs, uncertainties and inner fears which may be holding you back. Believe it or not, I’ve found that some people subconsciously avoid creating a successful business or practice because they’re afraid they would become a ‘businessperson’, for example, which for that person was definitely a negative, or it would mean they had to do things they’re secretly afraid of doing, or that they would somehow have to sell their soul. Without attending to things like this, you will be limiting any success you might be having.
However, you also need to have the practical knowledge to build your business. During the Circle I will be providing you with practical, inexpensive tools to do this. This Circle is unique in that I attend to both the inner and the outer tools needed for success.
Phone meetings — are they effective?
Yes! I never thought it would until I tried it, and this has been the experience consistently of everyone who’s joined so far. Once you get used to the structure of a call like this, you really appreciate the benefits: no time and cost of travel; sit in your own environment, or call in from wherever you are. In these days of taking more care of the planet and the pennies, meeting by phone is very attractive! A maximum of 5 people, we meet together once a week for eight weeks and everyone gets an opportunity to share and ask questions.
I’ve never done a phone meeting before — how do they work?
Once you’ve registered for your place and paid, you’ll be sent an email with all the details. Basically, you’re given a number to call in on (calls cost no more than 5p per minute) plus a pass code to enter when you are told to do so. Then you’re on the line and able to talk to anyone else also on the line.
I really don’t know whether this is the kind of thing for me; what should I do?
Contact me for a conversation about what support would best suit your individual needs. I really want to you succeed, and if I think that you would benefit from one programme more than another, or belonging to a group rather than doing individual work, then I will tell you. I know best what I can offer, and it’s my job to match that up to your needs. So I will refer you to someone else if I think I’m not the best person to support you. So contact me for that free half hour!
