As I write this, I’ve just come back from an early morning walk, identifying the songs of different birds with a friend who is very knowledgeable about them. There were 6 of us and we all then shared a bountiful breakfast. What a start to the day, and it’s only 8.45am!

As I write this month’s RichThinking Times, I am sitting in a beachfront café in the south of Spain, gazing out at the sun shining on a turquoise sea. Philip and I have been here for 2 weeks and going home in a day or two; I didn’t want to take time off work, so I agreed to come on the basis that there would be an internet connection, and that I could still make my coaching calls.

What I didn’t bargain for is my disinterest in doing any work of any kind if the sun is shining! I guess I am feeling deprived of hot sun since we moved to northern Scotland.

As I sit here at my desk, I can see in front of me a wonderful quote. It comes from a pack entitled Universal Messages, used in the Dining Room of Cluny Hill College in the Findhorn Foundation, where I volunteer every Friday. We always close the week with a little meditation and choosing a card to help us on our way. I liked this so much that I copied it out to pin up, and here it is for you:
