The difference between concern and worry

Quote by sir Alex Ferguson, football manager

“There’s a difference between concern and worry. When you concern yourself, you can do something about it. When you worry, you put yourself in the grave. I don’t worry.”

When you concern yourself with something, you relate to it. You develop a relationship with it, in fact. You can easily see the difference between concern and worry if you think about a child with whom you have a relationship – of course you concern yourself with them, that is part of the natural relationship. And you can probably identify when concern spills over into worry.

The same thing applies with your relationship to your business. Concern is good; concern yourself with all aspects [read more]

‘Every thought you think or speak is an affirmation” says Louise L. Hay, founder of Hay House Publishing company and author or the famous ‘You Can Heal Your Life’.

Every thought. That’s quite something. And it’s true – so either you are thinking a negative affirmation, a positive one or a neutral one. If an affirmation is something you say or think, as if it were true, regardless of whether it really is true or not, then what you say or think is really important. I’ll blog about my experience, and no doubt a lot of what I learn will get put into my newsletter too.

Louise Hay herself was sitting there in the front row, going to be 84 in a few days time and still going [read more]

One group had no hesitation in reaching forward and taking various different amounts, and we had big discrepancies in who got what amount, with one person taking what represented millions, and someone else taking (or getting) nothing. [read more]
