Here I let you into the workings of my mind as I go about my days, and how the spirit of rich thinking occurs in my life, and can therefore occur in yours too. All comments very welcome, as I learn and grow from everyone!

Is Your Business in a Burrow or Full Sunlight?

According to North American folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on 2nd February (today), it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. If on the other hand, it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly “see its shadow” and retreat back into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks. How does this relate to your business?

Imagine you are a groundhog, and after a time of hibernation (often happens over Christmas and in the darkness of the winter), you are poking your nose out into the light and seeing your business with clear, fresh eyes. What would you see before you?

Manifestation in a Moment

Well, at least it seems like a moment! And indeed it was, in that the moment I let go of what appeared to be the perfect solution to our housing needs, something even better came along…

Our experiment with living in a community hasn’t worked for many different reasons, mainly that Philip hasn’t been able to contribute to the daily routine in the way that he wanted to; and I have found trying to keep a balance between RichThinkers and the needs of the community too much of challenge — just not enough time available to devote to two major projects.

My brother Simon Duncan has put together something called The Loving Life Programme - I have participated in it’s creation and it is a really wonderful course. He has a website called www.thelovinglifeportal.com which he is currently putting together.

Now he has to have a major operation sometime in February, and he is also going to be taking Mistletoe treatment (available on the NHS up here) starting next week.

What does all this mean for me and RichThinkers? I am slowly coming to the realisation that because I will be accompanying him to the Birmingham/Coventry area for his operation and recovery, that my attention needs to be primarily focused on him and his [read more]

To measure the sugar, for instance, you place the weight on one side, and the other scale pan shoots up. To bring it into balance, you need to pour the exact amount of sugar onto the other scale pan, till the point where both pans are balanced.

You’ ll probably know that in baking, it’ s really important to get the quantities right, that is, the balance of the different ingredients in relation to each other. Just last week, someone proudly told me they had been baking chocolate brownies (my favourite) and that they had cut back on the [read more]
