Success, abundance and losing weight

How can these topics go together? Well, I wondered too, until I read this great article from EFT practitioner Carol Look.

To give you a trailer of it, the scarcity beliefs of ‘there’s not enough’, or ‘there’ll never be enough’, or even ‘no matter how much there is there’ll never be enough’ all apply to food, money and even time. They are all about abundance, and more or less of it.

What is the biggest problem facing humanity?

A full page ad in The Independent was taken out earlier this month with this headline, and then the following possible answers:

1. Climate change?

2. Over-population?

3. Pandemic disease?

4. Human greed?

Breathing in, I’m aware it doesn’t last. Breathing out, I’m aware it doesn’t last.’

We have a friend visiting us at the moment, and last night round the dinner table we were talking about creating what you wanted in life. He came out with this great quote from Krishnamurti:

“If you want to know my secret, it’s that I don’t mind what happens”.

And that is indeed the secret.

A client was talking to me the other day about how she had looked one day at her fruit bowl, thinking she must get a new one. The next day, a new one presented itself to her. Easy to create when you ‘don’t mind what happens’ — she was not that bothered one way or another about the fruit bowl, and so there it was. [read more]
