Things getting worse before getting better

also posted in Jane's Blog

Well. I’ve really committed myself to some goals, targets, intentions, whatever you want to call them this month, in all kinds of areas, not just business. Plus I’ve been focusing on the art of Deliberate Creation, as defined by Abraham-Hicks (they of Ask and It is Given fame).

What has happened? Things are falling apart all over the place! My computer has gone bust (had to order a new one); my second computer is not running smoothly; our phone line went down for two days last week; people are not replying to my emails and I’m ill again! Aaaagh!

I’m reassuring myself that all this is happening because it’s getting worse before it gets better. For sure, all these things just make me more clear about what I do (more...)

Limiting yourself — where do you do it?

I have been limiting myself! Hugely! How? By not properly connecting with the work I was doing before as a trainer of Louise L. Hay’s wonderful material. Why was I limiting myself? Because I hadn’t got in touch with the true value of what I have done in the past.

If you don’t know (and why would you, I haven’t really told anyone!) I trained personally with Louise on her last ever training course in 1990, and returned from California to lead successful study groups around the UK and Europe for about 7 years. She has been instrumental in my life, and I had “forgotten”! Wow! Isn’t it amazing what we do to ourselves!

Anyway, she is back now in my life in a big way for various reasons, and (more...)

Practicing Rich Thoughts

I recently started to study the Course in Miracles, with a lesson every day. So far, so good. But the last few days have been a challenge, since I’ve been visiting my sister and her family, where the focus is not at all on anything spiritual — more on how to get my 4 year old nephew to go to bed without a fuss.

But one thing that has really worked for me is remembering the lesson during the day, and not only doing that, but using it as a way to remember my latest Rich Thought, which is:

I am so happy and grateful now I have an abundant and continuous income from various different sources.

Every time I say this, without fail, I feel fantastic. Not (more...)

Coaching Circles

Wow! I’ve just started two experimental coaching circles, and I’m loving it!

I’d forgotten how good it is to work with groups of people, and once I’d learnt the etiquette of managing groups on the phone, it works fine! At least I think so -

I’ll be asking the participants for feedback towards the end of our course (4 weeks). I do love being able to respond to people’s individual situations within the context of a topic. We started off with the importance of finding a niche for your self, and this week moved on to pricing of products and services. And all the time, sitting there in the background (of course!) is the question of attitudes and beliefs, and how they infect or inspire, depending on what (more...)

How to make lots of money fast?

also posted in Business Basics

You know, there are loads of sites out there promising to make you more money in a short period of time. You know the thing — they have headlines like:

“How to Make £100,000 in the next 6 months”

or

“Transform your business into a 6-figure powerhouse with my new method”

I’ve investigated a lot of these sites; some I’ve signed up for, others not. I have learnt a huge amount in the process, (one idea I got formed the basis of my study manual, How To Be A RichThinker: essential inner tools of success) and I don’t doubt that the people serving these sites are genuine. And that there are probably some others out there (as in the testimonials) who have copied their method and done well too.

But that’s not (more...)
