Increasing your prices

posted in Jane's Blog, Workshops & Events

I’m having great fun preparing the content for my free call next Monday 6th June. The joys of my laptop allow me to sit in our sunroom, pretending I am in sunnier climes, when it is a cool wind outside; and when I want a moment of inspiration, I can step out into the garden and let myself be refreshed by the soil and the plants.

The call is all about pricing and money — something that for spiritual business owners and conscious entrepreneurs can be a bit of a nightmare! If you’ve ever wondered about what to charge your clients, how to set your prices, or felt nervous about whether you are under– or over-charging, then get on this [read more]

The benefits of being honest

“Oh no!”

I was looking at a big scratch on a car door — the care that was parked next to mine in the library car park in Aberdeen. What on earth was I doing there? Good place to get online for free near the hospital.

Anyway, as I was getting out, the wind blew my door into her car, and resulted in the scratch. I peered at it, wiped a finger over it, and realised it wasn’t going to just disappear. The Findhorn Foundation says Yes!

posted in Jane's Blog

To illustrate this, imagine you are driving a car on a long straight stretch of road, and you switch on the cruise control so you can take your foot off the accelerator. Now when you set cruise control on a car, what you are doing is asking your speedometer to [read more]

Without money coming in and going out, you don’t have a business at all. So money is a hot topic when it comes to business – and it’s also a hot topic when it comes to spirituality! Can money and spiritual principles live side by side?

Over the many years I have been in various businesses, I have heard other self-employed people struggle with the concept of charging well for their services. It comes out in statements such as:

• I shouldn’t be [read more]
