Beautiful affirmation!

On my RichThinking Way class this week, one participant mentioned a really beautiful affirmation that I asked could I share with you. here it is:

“I am a treasured gift and I honour myself by being gentle and compassionate when I’m disconnected, and remind myself of the peace within”.

How do you start your morning?

Louise L. Hay starts her morning by saying ‘Hallo darling’, and proceeds to say positie things about herself. This is what she told us at the recent conference I attended.

The time first thing in the morning and last thing at night are precious — if you wake up thinking about your business, or worrying, or just mild anxiety, make a commitment to say ‘hallo darling, who would you like to be today?’ (which I often say to myself — at least, since I heard Louise, I added on the ‘darling’ bit!).

When you ask yourself who you want to be, you set your tone for the day. Very powerful.

The difference between concern and worry

When you concern yourself with something, you relate to it. You develop a relationship with it, in fact. You can easily see the difference between concern and worry if you think about a child with whom you have a relationship – of course you concern yourself with them, that is part of the natural relationship.
