Talking about thinking rich

posted in Jane's Blog

I’m giving a talk to the Workers Educational Association Women At Work on Monday 28th June at lunchtime in Elgin, up in Moray. If you’re local, do come along, it’s free, and lunch is available too for just £3. I can guarantee it will be fun, stimulating, thought provoking, and send you off into your afternoon wondering just how you really do think richly or poorly in your day, and how that affects you!

How to manage in a recession using your thoughts, feelings and actions

WEA WOMEN @ WORK PROJECT www.weawomenatwork.org.uk

issues a warm invitation for you to join us in Inverness on Wednesday 4th August 2010 for the Inverness Network Meeting with Jane Duncan Rogers. Jane says:

“The trouble with a recession is that all around, you hear people moaning, complaining, and generally focusing on how awful everything is. But if you are willing to change your thinking about what the economic situation means for you, and as result feel differently, it’s amazing how your actions can bring you a sense of success and some real results.

By the end of the evening you’ll know:

  • How you create your life by your thoughts, feelings and actions
  • How using the Step by Step Rich Thoughts process can help you achieve what you want
  • How the recession can be an opportunity for you”

Stopped and was silent. Silent simply to pause and take a breath, and acknowledge that this was the first meeting of what I hope will be many. I wanted to acknowledge the presence of the RichThinkers Angel, and to create a ‘sacred holding space’ for our meeting to take place. In the Foundation, they call this attunement.

This way of beginning meetings is very common up here; it can take as long or as short as you (more...)

Useful quotes

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him. Buddha

Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. From Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

It doesn’t matter how long we’ve had a negative pattern, or an illness, or a poor relationship or lack of finances, or self-hatred. We can begin to make a shift today – your problem no longer needs to be the truth for you. Remember you are the only person who thinks in your mind. You (more...)

How to Know What You Really Want in Your Business

posted in Articles, Jane's Blog

My new client was pouring her heart out to me. Her eyes were shining as she described how she had achieved the goal she had set herself. “I wanted ten more client hours in my week, consistently filled, and look, here’s my appointment book!” She showed me a week in her diary, with all her appointments slots filled.

But then she slumped back in her chair. Her energy suddenly changed, and there was a silence. I waited. “The only problem is I feel a bit down about it, and I can’t understand it. I’ve got what I said I wanted, the money is flowing in, my time is booked up for the next month or so, so why do I feel a (more...)
