Notes and Inspired Actions.
If you haven’t done the Passion and Purpose exercise, which helps you to provide a context for what you want, and discover what that is, then click here
And remember — list what you don’t want, and then the opposite of that, to get closer to what you do want.
Three Layers of Reality
Top: Human being level, ego, personality, level of separation
Middle: Level of universal Qualities, such as Compassion, Love, Sincerity, Integrity, Forgiveness etc. Also the realm of unseen beings, angels, spirit guides etc
Bottom: Level of Source, All-is-Oneness, God, the Divine. No separation, just unity
Be willing to consider there is a parallel reality alongside what you are currently experiencing. Choose to tune into that. Be willing to receive information from the version of you that exists in this parallel reality. Like tuning into a different channel on a radio, where you let yourself experience right now what you are wanting.
Breathing in for 8 hold for 4, out for 8. Count back from 10 –1 to move into parallel reality. Beginning to let go, breathing out, etc. Beginning to relax, coming into another place. Now in a place where all things are possible.
Be, Do, Have
We are nearly always focused in this world on getting something from out there, that will make us feel better in here, and then we will be the person we want to be. This is backwards. Instead of have, do, be, i.e. get the money, do the things that people with money do, and then I’ll be happy, BE, DO, HAVE turns it on it’s head. So you start with being happy, you do things that are in line with keeping you feeling happy, and then you find that you have attracted things or experiences that are also in line with you being that which you said you wanted to be. This is why the traditional method of goal setting or making resolutions so often doesn’t really work. Even if people do get to the top of the ladder and achieve the car, or the house, or the more money, they often find it doesn’t really bring them what they thought it would bring them. No wonder people end up feeling unfulfilled, distressed and going for more and more stuff.
Being who you want to be first: ask yourself:
Difference between goals and intentions: choose which word works for you, and use it to help you focus on what you want more of.
Quote from Neale Donald Walsch in Conversations with God, book 3:
First you ‘be’ the thing you call ‘happy’ (or ‘knowing’ or ‘wise’ or ‘compassionate’ or whatever) then you start ‘doing’ things from this place of beingness – and soon you discover that what you are doing winds up bringing you the things you‘ve always wanted to ‘have’.
The way to set this creative process (and that’s what this is…the process of creation) into motion is to look at what it is you want to ‘have’, ask yourself what you think you would ‘be’ if you ‘had’ that, then go straight to being.
In this way you reverse they way you’ve been using the Be-Do-have paradigm — in actuality, set it right – and work with, rather than against the creative power of the Universe. Here is a short way of stating this principle: In life you do not have to do anything. It is all a question of what you are being”.
