How not to promote your course

in Jane's Blog

Oh dear. Waking up this morning I realised that I had scheduled my new RichThinking Way course to start in the middle of the week just after a bank holiday. I don’t recommend this!

In Scotland, the last Monday in August is not a Bank Holiday, and anyway even if it had been I probably wouldn’t have noticed as I tend to ignore holidays of this kind. But I do know that the rest of the UK is different from me!

Anyway, I have been reminding people about the early bird deadline (yesterday), and here’s another tip — don’t make your early bird deadline on a Friday; and especially don’t make it on the Friday of a Bank Holiday weekend!

So now what do I do? Well, the answer is, I don’t know. Not right now. But the lesson to be learnt is to think of others’ timetables when I schedule courses! And of course, now I’m passing this tip onto you, hopefully you’ll learn from it too, so all is not lost.

In the meantime, I will contact everyone who has expressed an interest and hope they check their emails before our starting date.…
