Loving yourself, releasing money shame

in Jane's Blog

I’ve just been looking at a forum I subscribe to and read a comment I had written a couple of months ago:

I clearly need to do some releasing work on this money shame

I had identified shame around being in debt to a considerable amount. Now I didn’t go out and do anything in particular to release this shame, which I might have done a couple of years ago. Looking back though I can see that in these 2 months, my meditation practice has increased to sitting twice a day often instead of sporadically; I’m using affirmations a lot; and I’m actively loving myself more and more in little ways, like going to an exercise class regularly, walking in the woods a lot, and practicing a lot more of what I preach in the RichThinking Way! (Next course starts 1st September)

The point here is that it’s helpful sometimes to look back at where you were in order to be able to see where you are right now — it’s so easy to forget that things were once so bad…

    Hello
i am really pleased to have found you as i am already a passionate follower of the law of attraction and have monthly CDs from Abraham Hicks and would like to belong to a group of followers and supporters.
I am considering offering introductory workshops however my ideal group would be with practiced members.
At the moment my work is very light because of illness and moving house. i am particularly interested in helping others find their way to wellness however attracting ill people doesn’t sound good for me! focussing on wellness may not bring the clients i am interested in helping. Can you offer advice for me?

    Hi Mary
Good to hear from you. Introductory workshops sounds a great idea. You can start small from your own front room (you’d be in good company, this is how Louise Hay started all those years ago, and also myself!) and learn as you go along about what works best.

Attracting ill people may not be so awful — they will be very motivated indeed to move through their illness, just like you I guess. You do have to be really clear about who your ideal clients are though, so I’d suggest contacting me to arrange a free half hour strategy session, and we can look at this topic in a bit more detail. It’s great you want to give back from what you have been learning!
