The power of affirmations
This week’s Spirit of RichThinking newsletter was about using affirmations — and just yesterday I had a great example of them being used and working immediately! Not anything to do with business but I wanted to share it anyway.
I keep Louise Hay’s little blue book ‘Heal Your Body’ as a kind of bible in my house. In it she suggests probable metaphysical causes for various diseases and illnesses, and affirmations to be used to help.
My husband has had some considerable pain in his liver for the last few days and I suggested he use these affirmations. He came up with his own version ‘I see the world through eyes of love’, which he used throughout the night. And the pain has gone. Yes. Gone. And even when it came back again yesterday, he spoke the words and the pain disappeared. This is the kind of power that our thoughts can have. I’ve been using affirmations for ages, and I’m still amazed!
