Practicing Rich Thoughts

posted in Heart of RichThinking

I recently started to study the Course in Miracles, with a lesson every day. So far, so good. But the last few days have been a challenge, since I’ve been visiting my sister and her family, where the focus is not at all on anything spiritual — more on how to get my 4 year old nephew to go to bed without a fuss.

But one thing that has really worked for me is remembering the lesson during the day, and not only doing that, but using it as a way to remember my latest Rich Thought, which is:

I am so happy and grateful now I have an abundant and continuous income from various different sources.

Every time I say this, without fail, I feel fantastic. Not (more...)

Coaching Circles

posted in Business Basics, Heart of RichThinking

Wow! I’ve just started two experimental coaching circles, and I’m loving it!

I’d forgotten how good it is to work with groups of people, and once I’d learnt the etiquette of managing groups on the phone, it works fine! At least I think so -

I’ll be asking the participants for feedback towards the end of our course (4 weeks). I do love being able to respond to people’s individual situations within the context of a topic. We started off with the importance of finding a niche for your self, and this week moved on to pricing of products and services. And all the time, sitting there in the background (of course!) is the question of attitudes and beliefs, and how they infect or inspire, depending on what (more...)

How to make lots of money fast?

posted in Business Basics, Heart of RichThinking

You know, there are loads of sites out there promising to make you more money in a short period of time. You know the thing — they have headlines like:

“How to Make £100,000 in the next 6 months”

or

“Transform your business into a 6-figure powerhouse with my new method”

I’ve investigated a lot of these sites; some I’ve signed up for, others not. I have learnt a huge amount in the process, (one idea I got formed the basis of my study manual, How To Be A RichThinker: essential inner tools of success) and I don’t doubt that the people serving these sites are genuine. And that there are probably some others out there (as in the testimonials) who have copied their method and done well too.

But that’s not (more...)

There’s no such thing as failure, only…

I was reading Peter Jones’ book ‘Tycoon” recently, and although I’m not at all sure I want to be a tycoon, lots of it is very useful. Here’s one sentence that I really agreed with:

“I really believe that there are no failures in this world, only events that give you feedback”.

This is definitely rich thinking — and he’s right. I’ve just had what might be called a failure — lost someone’s telephone number who was supposed to be having a session with me right now. Well, how do I react to that? Beat myself up, criticise myself for not being perfect, or more organised? Yes, I admit, I have a tendency towards that kind of thinking. But I also have an uncanny ability to notice when I’m (more...)

MasterMind Magic: using the power of the third mind

a) How To Think Rich in Daily Life

Well, although I started the last issue with this topic, I’m saying it again — there has never been a time when thinking rich is so needed by so many people. So what is it in reality? How do you really think rich?

Basically, it’s a commitment you make. You decide that you are going to choose your thoughts about any situation you find yourself in; so instead of choosing to think poorly, you think richly.

Here’s an example:

I was out shopping in Inverness just recently (an unusual occurrence, shopping is not my favourite pastime!). Things were not going the way I wanted (more...)
