Abundance Consciousness: turning fear into joy!

RichThinking Times Issue 7: May 2009

Dear

As I write this, I’ve just come back from an early morning walk, identifying the songs of different birds with a friend who is very knowledgeable about them. There were 6 of us and we all then shared a bountiful breakfast. What a start to the day, and it’s only 8.45am!

This month’s article is a short story I heard that I really wanted to share with you, as it’s a great example of putting into practice what ‘thinking rich’ really is. Randy is a friend of mine who is abundance personified, and yet is someone just like you and me who also has to face fears, concerns, worries.

Plus I introduce the [read more]

How to swop words around for real business success

RichThinking Times Issue 4: February 2009

As I write this month’s RichThinking Times, I am sitting in a beachfront café in the south of Spain, gazing out at the sun shining on a turquoise sea. Philip and I have been here for 2 weeks and going home in a day or two; I didn’t want to take time off work, so I agreed to come on the basis that there would be an internet connection, and that I could still make my coaching calls.

What I didn’t bargain for is my disinterest in doing any work of any kind if the sun is shining! I guess I am feeling deprived of hot sun since we moved to northern Scotland.

Memo from God

Today I received this, so I wanted to pass it on.

To: YOU

Date: TODAY
From: GOD
Subject: YOURSELF
Reference: LIFE

This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day. I love you. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, [read more]

Law of Attraction: simple but not necessarily easy

Here’s how the Law of Attraction works in daily life. I start with the story…

I wanted to turn our little piece of concrete yard outside our house into a beautiful sitting area, and with lots of pots. I knew the kind I wanted, half barrels from the whiskey distilleries near here. So off I go to the local Wastebusters to see what they have, and sure enough, they are making exactly what I want, but at £30. I wanted 3 barrels and I didn’t want to pay that much.

But as I was there, I bumped into a friend who said she was going somewhere else to get them cheaper; I asked her to get me some. A few [read more]

Fear: how to survive middle of the night worries

posted in Heart of RichThinking, Jane's Blog

Thump, thump, thump! Panic stations. Sometimes you find yourself sitting bolt upright in bed. You just know it’s those wee small hours again, a time when you never feel so alone. Or maybe you find yourself awakening slowly, finding the fear overtaking you, despite your best efforts. How do you cope when this happens?

I’ve been in this place often, so I’m well-qualified to put together a survival kit! This is my list of things that work for me. I’ve divided it into two sections, when you are conscious enough and wanting to address the fear; the second when for whatever reason you just want to distract yourself enough to go back to sleep.

This kit is a list of [read more]
