The 3 M’s of a successful therapy/coaching business

posted in Articles, Business Basics

If you want clients flocking to you, it is crucial that you apply the 3M’s. These are the Market, the Message and theMedium. Let’s take a quick look at all of them.

Your Market: WHO

If you find yourself put off by this word ‘market’, think of it simply as who you are ideally wanting to have as your clients. For instance, if you offer massage, aromatherapy and reiki – who do you offer it to? Everyone? Or can you be more selective? It is much easier to reach the people you’re really interested in if you know exactly who they are. So if you really like treating young mothers, or menopausal women, or stressed executives, [read more]

How to feel good even though you’re in debt and why it’s so crucial

posted in Articles, Business Basics

I’m the first to say that if you’re in debt you need to be doing something practical to get yourself out of debt. There’s no point in just sitting around hoping — or even worse, continuing to rack up the debts, hoping that ‘all wil be well’, that ‘God will take care of me’, that ’ something will happen’. But why is feeling good while you’re in debt so important? Surely that goes against the grain? In this article, I’ll tell you why if you don’t feel good, you’ll be much more likely to stay in debt than if not.

Easy to create when you ‘don’t mind what happens’ — she was not that bothered one way or another about the fruit bowl, and so there it was. [read more]

I’ve come across many, many people somewhat disgruntled with positive thinking, because they say it doesn’t work. They’ve tried affirming for what they want, and it seems so patently ridiculous that they give up. Mistake. Because it’s the very thought that it’s ridiculous that holds the secret to the success of the positive thought.

Imagine yourself saying a statement such as:

My income is constantly increasing

And then listen to what you think in response to that. If you’re spending more than your income, or if your income is static, it’s likely to be something like ‘no it isn’t’, or ‘what a lot of rubbish!’ Over the last twenty years of using affirmations in my own life, and teaching this [read more]

I was wandering through the woods on my way to volunteering at the Findhorn Foundation yesterday, and I realised I wasn’t noticing the trees, the blossom, the leaves, birdsong – anything. I was completely lost inside my own world in my head. And yet the previous day, I’d been in the same place and completely blissed out by the very same things. Nothing had changed (it wasn’t blue sky one day and not the next!). Only the thoughts inside my head were different.

This happens when I look at my bank account too — I look one day and see an enormous amount of money, and look even an hour later and suddenly, although the amount is the same, it’s [read more]
