Inspired action in practice
Just wanted to share ‘inspired actions’ in practice!
I wa sitting at my computer just an hour ago, writing (or trying to write) an email to send out regarding the next Success Coaching Circle (see www.richthinkers.co.uk/coachingcircles.html).
It was not going well! How did I know this? Lots of deleting, huffing and puffing and feelings of frustration. Fortunately before too long I remembered that this was supposed to be something that flowed easily, ha!
So I stopped and went to the local coffee shop for a complete change of scene, thought about something else entirely, and returned 45 minutes later to my screen. Where guess what, inspiration visited and the email got completed and sent out within 20 minutes.
That’s inspired action in practice. It’s easy to think ‘I have no time to go out for a coffee; or ‘I’ll just do something else instead’, or ‘I must get it done’; but I encourage you to interrupt yourself when you’re struggling. You don’t have to go out for a coffee, but do do something to change your mind’s obsession with the current problem, preferably something that is completely different. Try it and see!
