The Art of Possibility

posted in Resources

Wow! I’ve just been watching an amazing video clip of a guy who speaks passionately about the world of the downward spiral vs the world of possibility. You may have heard of him – conductor Benjamin Zander. On this video there are several gems such as

a) what to do when you make a mistake (and it’s not saying ‘Oh how stupid!’)

b) how sitting on one buttock can transform your life

c) a demonstration with a young cello player of allowing Spirit into what you do

It’s a remarkable form of coaching by a remarkable man; check it out at this link:

How to Simplify Your Life

posted in Resources

Yesterday on one of my Coaching Circle calls we were talking about flow, and the importance of it in practical terms, ie systems. All successful businesses, large or small, have efficient systems to manage what happens. Even individuals in their home lives have systems (or not!) to manage their household.

A smooth running system can make all the difference to the ease you experience within life. One of the participants recommended a book:

How to Simplify Your Life:
Seven Practical Steps to Letting Go of Your Burdens and Living a Happier Life

Inspired action in practice

posted in Heart of RichThinking

Just wanted to share ‘inspired actions’ in practice!

I wa sitting at my computer just an hour ago, writing (or trying to write) an email to send out regarding the next Success Coaching Circle (see www.richthinkers.co.uk/coachingcircles.html).

It was not going well! How did I know this? Lots of deleting, huffing and puffing and feelings of frustration. Fortunately before too long I remembered that this was supposed to be something that flowed easily, ha!

So I stopped and went to the local coffee shop for a complete change of scene, thought about something else entirely, and returned 45 minutes later to my screen. Where guess what, inspiration visited and the email got completed and sent out within 20 minutes.

That’s inspired [read more]

There’s not enough, is there?

posted in Articles

It would be easy in these days of the credit crunch to simply think ‘there’s not enough’ – oil, energy, money, safety, security, love, peace – I could go on. When people focus on ‘not enough’, that’s what they tend to get, regardless of how ‘much’ there actually is. That’s why someone who has millions still feels poor; or someone who is surrounded by security measures still doesn’t feel safe; or someone who owns oil wells that are running dry begins to feel worried and anxious about the future. So, is there really not enough?

Clearly, there are consequences when there is not enough. Not enough food, water or shelter can cause death. But I’m really addressing the developed world [read more]

Awash in money?

posted in Heart of RichThinking, Inspirational Quotes

The world is awash in money! Do you hear what that means? It is awash in money. It is flowing for everyone. It is like Niagara Falls. And most of you are showing up with your teaspoons. — Abraham-Hicks.

I love this quote! It makes me laugh — good thing too, because otherwise I might cry. At this moment in time, there will be plenty of people out there who will dismiss this idea, and particularly if you are feeling the pinch financially, it’s harder to be open to it.

But all that means is that this is the time to think richly in your life, more than ever! Now I know it’s not easy. Goodness knows, I know that. [read more]
