I was aghast!

posted in Heart of RichThinking

Not only aghast, but speechless. Even as I write this now, I find I am still amazed…

I was chatting to my friend yesterday, when she suddenly stopped mid-conversation and shouted out “Oh! I’ve just remembered!”
This sounded like something important!
“What?”
“I met a colleague the other day, who said he was feeling a bit hard up, so I told him about the free tips on your website — but you’ll never believe what happened!”
She was so excited, I couldn’t for the life of me imagine what she was going to say next.
“I told him to go to your site where he’d find lots of useful free stuff to help him with money — and do you know what he said?”
By this time I was on the edge of my (more...)

“I’ll believe it when I see it.”

How often have you heard that? Let’s turn it around to ‘I see it then I believe it’. This may not be what you are used to, but in the world of success, this is what it’s all about. ‘I see it (in my mind’s eye), then I believe it’ are the words of a creative, successful person using visualization techniques to get what they want out of life. Anyone can learn these techniques to start manifesting their life goals.

1. Paint what you want

Visualising and then believing means imagining something, and understanding that if you imagine it consistently enough, it becomes manifest in the material world, as well as in your mind’s eye. Golfer Jack Nicklaus once said, “I never hit a shot, not even (more...)

Catching your thoughts

Walking past a beautiful Georgian house the other day that had been for sale, I noticed it had scaffolding covering the ivy, clematis and wisteria, all in full flower. Obviously work was going to be done by the new owners. Two days later and I’m horrified to see that all that beautiful wisteria and clematis (I didn’t mind about the ivy!) had been torn down.

That is definitely not an example of rich thinking! BUT — the great thing is I noticed; I may have been horrified (more...)

Rich Thinking in hard times

posted in Heart of RichThinking, Jane's Blog

It’s easy at the moment to believe all you hear in the papers and other media — everywhere you look, people are talking about doom and gloom, the end of the financial system as we know it, rising prices, negative equity, you name it — there will be someone focusing on what we haven’t got.

I know that thinking like this makes me feel glum, to put it mildly. So I’ve been taking steps to surround myself with people and information that helps to make me feel positive. There is no doubt this is a market for opportunities, if you are thinking that way. I deliberately choose to focus everyday on what I have got, rather than what I haven’t. And (more...)

Buying houses inside your head

posted in Articles, Business Basics

I was so excited I was jumping up and down and running throughout the house!

Why?

I’d discovered a piece of information I hadn’t known, that now I knew it, was going to liberate me from the rat race.

You’ve probably guessed – I’d just finished reading Andy’s book, which had explained to me exactly how to buy houses and make money, something I’d been looking for for ages.

I knew that this, combined with what I knew about how to buy houses inside my head, that I’d be sorted!

This was just over a year ago, and I acted immediately. Even though we were in the middle of moving house and country, and we didn’t know where we were going, it didn’t stop me buying 2 properties in (more...)
