RichThinking in Action

posted in Heart of RichThinking, Jane's Blog

I put up a YouTube video clip recently of me talking to camera about my new e-study manual How To Be a RichThinker: essential inner tools of success. (It’s not up, by the way, so you can’t view it!)

Why isn’t it up anymore? Because it wasn’t good enough. I’d hardly even been in front of a camera before, but the most amazing thing was that I hadn’t really prepared for it. Result: I learned a lot, but didn’t achieve what I thought was my aim, to have a clip up on YouTube.

So I set up a time to play around with a friend and his camera, setting my intention to just have fun. Again, though, I hadn’t really prepared for it, in (more...)

RichThinking and Technology

I was walking through the woods this afternoon, with Philip, chatting about

the new recording I’m about to make ‘Everyday RichThoughts’.

“If you set up the equipment for me, I’ll do it when we get home” I said.

‘Setting up the equipment means switching it on!” he exclaimed “even
you can do that I think!” and carried on laughing.

The outcome of this conversation? I did plug in and switch on, and it
didn’t work. (more...)

Things getting in the way…

I haven’t written a blog for ages and there’s a reason. I’m supposed to be changing over from blogger.com to Wordpress, and when I was showed Wordpress, it seemed like just too much – yet another system I had to learn and find my way around. Result: no more blogging!

But this is the kind of thing that happens all the time. You get stopped in your tracks by something unexpected and then it’s hard to get going again.

So how do you get going?

By doing what I’m doing here. Telling the truth about what’s really going on; facing up to facts, and then being willing to take the first, sometimes tiny, step in the right direction.

This applies particularly now, when credit is hard to get, (more...)

3 Magic words to get more clients

posted in Business Basics

How can 3 words bring you more clients? Or more business of any kind?

This is so simple, you’ll love it.

Sitting in the Blue Angel coffee shop in the Findhorn Foundation last week, talking with my mentor, he told me about them.
We were talking about the marketing section of my business plan, and had got to the section on features and benefits.

“What are your FAB’s?” he said.

I hadn’t a clue what he was talking about.

“Feature, Advantages and Benefits of your products” he continued. “Every product needs to be described to the customer in only one way, because they’re only interested in one thing, and that is what it can do for them. This is the benefit to them. And there’s 3 magic words that’ll help you (more...)
